Petar Shopov v Digenis Morfou FC
21.06.2012The Bulgarian striker, Petar Shopov, prevailed in his complaint against the Cypriot club, Digenis Morfou, to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee. As a result, Digenis Morfou was given until 18 July 2012 to cancel its entire default towards Shopov under the threat of three (3) points deduction and even relegation to a lower league. In addition, Digenis Morfou will have to pay a fine to FIFA as well as the entire costs of the proceedings.
