Manchev wins case v Botev Plovdiv

On 21 January 2010, the Plovdiv County Court ruled on behalf of the player Nikolay Manchev against Botev Plovdiv in their labour dispute. Manchev claim was for 3 unpaid salaries by the club. Manchev's action was a precedent, as he decided not to make a claim to the BFU Arbitration Court, but to the civil court, and he succeeded. In any case, the BFU Arbitration Court is NOT competent to hear labour disputes, according to Bulgarian law.
