FIFA fines Samsunspor

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee fined the Turkish club Samsunspor with CHF 5'000 for non-compliance with a final and binding decision passed by the FIFA Players' Status Committee in the matter with PFC Slavia Sofia for the player Yordan Petkov. In the event that Samsunspor does not cancel its entire default towards Slavia within the next 30 days, further sanctions may be imposed on the Turkish side (3 points deduction and demotion to a lower league) upon a written request from Slavia.
