FIFA warned the RFF

FIFA gave final deadline to the Romanian Football Federation until 30 April 2009 to present a proof that the latter has withdrawn 3 points from the active of FC Progresul Bucharest in the Romanian championship. The RFF is threatened by expulsion from all FIFA competitions, including the World Cup 2010 Qualifications.
 
In October 2008 Georgi Gradev has won a case for the player Radostin Stanev against FC Progresul Bucharest at FIFA, but the Romanian club failed to cancel its default to the player up to this day and the FIFA Disciplinary Committee imposed a CHF 5,000 fine on FC Progresul and ordered the RFF to withdraw 3 points from the club's active in the Romanian championship.
